Two days long Path Natak Utsav organized by Shariatpur Theatre

Showbiz Desk :Shariatpur Theater organized a two-day drama festival with the slogan “The play will reach the audience”. Dhaka’s Muktalaya Natangan performed two plays named “Ghun” and “Chatur Bhola” live on 09 and 10 September 2022 in the afternoon.

On the first day, two consecutive plays were staged at the open square of Angaria Bypass Road with a break and on the second day at Chowrangi Bangabandhu Square. Hundreds of ordinary spectators turn up to watch the play. The drama deals with language movement, liberation war, eviction, child marriage, corruption etc.Stage, television, radio and film actor, Aminul Haque Amin wrote and directed the short plays “Ghun” and “Chatur Bhola” starring prominent senior stage, television, radio and film actors Reena Rahman along with Aminul Haque Amin, Shefali Kusum, Farhan Mridha Sabbir, Eamon Gomez, Amirul Lipon, Afsana Setu, Pradeep Kairi and make up artist Revati Das.Shariatpur theater president Adv. Murad Munshi said that nowadays it is not possible for everyone to go to the theater and watch a play. Moreover, everyone is becoming obsessed with television and mobile devices. He was mentally trapped in Corona. So I think people will get some relief in their lives by coming under the open air and watching live dramas. So I organized this. Got good audience participation. I hope to do more festivals in the future.
